Regel Boer Goats

Regel Boer Goats is a family-owned breeding operation based in Hawkeye, Iowa, owned by Joel, Amy, and Austin Pagel. The Pagel family has deep roots in livestock production, including a long history in the dairy business. Austin took the lead in the Boer goat business in 2013, and the family works together to raise and show goats across the country.

The operation focuses on breeding and marketing fullblood Boer goats for breeding and show stock. Its breeding philosophy emphasizes structural correctness, soundness, and health, with the aim of producing animals that have show-ring presence and can also perform as productive breeding animals. Regel Boer Goats offers goats for sale, including fullblood bucks available by private treaty, and invites prospective buyers to contact the family to arrange a visit.

For breeders planning future matings, the farm also offers frozen and fresh semen from its herd sires, fresh semen for splash artificial insemination, scheduled laparoscopic AI breedings, and frozen embryos.
