Rehab Space

Rehab Space is a mobile paediatric physiotherapy service in Sydney’s Inner West, supporting children with neurological, developmental, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal needs. Founded by Shadi, a physiotherapist with 15 years of experience, the service focuses on evidence-based care delivered with respect, openness and trust. Shadi has worked in adult hospitals, with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance and for more than a decade at Westmead Children’s Hospital.

Services include early childhood intervention for children aged 0–7, with developmental assessments, practical family-centred goals and guidance to support learning and gross motor development. Rehab Space also assists families with NDIS planning and assessment reports, and helps select specialised standing and walking equipment suited to each child. Rehabilitation is available after hospital stays, neurological events such as stroke or brain injury, and surgery. Hydrotherapy offers a water-based alternative to land therapy, with guidance on suitable activities and safety at a nearby pool.

The service accepts plan-managed and self-managed NDIS clients, as well as private and insurance clients.
