Reign Jiu Jitsu is a family-friendly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Katy, Texas, welcoming students from age four through adulthood. Its programs serve complete beginners, recreational practitioners, and athletes pursuing competitive success, with certified black belt instructors and classes offered six days a week.

The academy’s teaching approach combines technical development, adaptive instruction, and competition preparation. Drawing on Professor Moon Kim’s background as a public school educator and Jiu-Jitsu experience, its structured curriculum aims to support different learning styles and measurable progress. Reign reports developing youth competitors and medalists at IBJJF, JJWL, and regional Texas events, while emphasizing discipline, confidence, respect, and a positive community.

Programs include adult and kids’ Jiu-Jitsu, beginner-focused fundamentals classes, competition training, wrestling, private lessons, and a homeschool program. Personalized coaching is also available for goals such as fitness, self-defense, and belt progression. Beginners are encouraged to book a trial class and meet the team before joining.
