Reinhardt & Rice Ranch

Reinhardt Mini Ranch, LLC is a family-run breeding business based in Merrill, Wisconsin. What began as a small chicken coop for the family’s children has grown into a ranch raising poultry, waterfowl, and registered heritage Hereford pigs. The ranch is not a hatchery or factory farm; its animals are raised in a carefully managed environment, with separate housing for each breed and biosecurity measures to protect the flock and herd.

The ranch specializes in chickens and waterfowl bred to the American Poultry Association’s Standard of Perfection, as well as Hereford pigs. Its offerings include live poultry, hatching eggs, and pig-related services and products such as boar semen. Reinhardt Mini Ranch selects birds from across the United States with the aim of improving breed quality and exceeding breed standards.

Serving backyard animal keepers, 4-H youth, and show exhibitors, the family also shares its experience through educational clinics for local youth groups and co-ops.
