FRÖHNERHOF is an equestrian facility in Mehlingen, Rhineland-Palatinate, offering horse boarding, riding instruction, event facilities and a welcoming place for visitors. The property provides care for around 100 horses, with accommodation designed to support appropriate horse keeping. Facilities include paddock-active boxes for 66 horses, 11 outdoor boxes, a stable and functional area for six school horses, an open stable for up to 30 additional horses, and five guest boxes. Many areas are equipped with hay racks and concentrate-feed dispensers.
The riding school welcomes children from age four through its Shetland pony program and offers lunge lessons, group and individual instruction for children and adults, as well as jumping lessons and opportunities to compete. Lessons are tailored to riders’ ages and abilities, and many school horses have competition backgrounds.
FRÖHNERHOF also hosts show jumping and dressage events, supported by the Reit- und Sportfreunde Fröhnerhof. Its heated riders’ lounge serves seasonal meals, with an outdoor courtyard terrace in summer.
