Reitanlage Sonnenhof is an equestrian and boarding stable in Stierstadt, a district of Oberursel in Germany’s Vordertaunus region. Founded in 1980, the facility holds a quality seal from the German Equestrian Federation, recognizing standards of horse care and stable management. Its four stable buildings offer 80 varied box options, including indoor, paddock and windowed outdoor boxes, with heated tack rooms and water pipes in winter. The farm grows much of its own feed, including oats, hay and straw.
Services include daily feeding, stable cleaning, bedding, and seasonal paddock and turnout support. Riders can use indoor arenas, an all-weather outdoor arena, grooming areas, solariums and nearby trails. Trainers provide instruction for horses and riders, with dressage training up to class S and show jumping up to class M; weekly jumping and polework sessions and children’s vaulting are also available.
The site is also home to the family-run Landgasthof “Zur Sonne,” which offers food, hospitality and a venue for celebrations.
