Reiten in Pforzheim

Stall Fitz Patric is a riding stable in Pforzheim-Würm, run by Heike Steinbrenner, a trained horse rider and riding instructor. The stable welcomes children and adults aged 6 to 99, with activities suited to different ages and levels of experience. Its horses include Icelandic horses, thoroughbreds, warmbloods and miniature Shetland ponies, which are kept for grazing and petting rather than riding. A key part of the stable’s approach is matching each child with a suitable horse.

The programme offers riding lessons for those learning to ride, as well as individual instruction to help riders improve their technique. Visitors can also take part in holiday programmes and learn about horse care and stable life. Activities include riding, horse handling, grooming, practical and theoretical learning, crafts and an introduction to understanding horses. Stall Fitz Patric also offers riding partnerships. The stable does not rent out ponies or provide unsupervised trail rides. Prospective riders can contact Heike by phone or message to ask questions or arrange riding instruction.
