Reiter & Pferd Hendrik Herrmann is a family-run equestrian specialist serving riders and horses in Salzgitter and the surrounding area. Founded in Flachstöckheim in 1977, the business is now led by Hendrik Herrmann, representing its second generation. Its expertise combines experience passed down from his father with professional saddlery training, which he began in 1999 and completed as a chamber award winner at Sattlerei Höpfner in Hanover.
The shop focuses on saddlery supplies and offers riding equipment for both horse and rider. At its in-house workshop, the team fits quality saddles to the individual needs of horse and rider. Saddle appointments can include a visit to the stable for measurements and a trial ride, helping make the fitting process more relaxed. The business also provides professional cleaning of horse blankets, alongside its range of equestrian accessories.
The shop is open Fridays and Saturdays, with stable visits and saddle appointments available by arrangement from Monday to Thursday. Reiter & Pferd welcomes customers at its Groß Mahner location.
