Reitsport van Hoorn is a specialist equestrian store in Leer, East Frisia, rooted in a local tradition of horse breeding and riding. Established in 1990 within the historic grounds of an old estate in the Heisfelde district, the family-run business offers a welcoming shop with around 160 square metres of retail space and knowledgeable staff ready to advise riders and horse owners.
The store stocks a broad selection of equipment and supplies for both horse and rider, including riding boots, with advice and sales for custom-made options, as well as horse feed from various manufacturers. Its services include saddle advice, sales, fitting and on-site checks; saddle flocking and leather repairs through a partner saddlery; and blanket washing and repairs. Customers can also borrow trial bits and children’s competition jackets. A customer card provides shopping benefits.
Reitsport van Hoorn serves customers in person at its Leer shop and welcomes enquiries about its products and services.
