Reittherapie Freilassing

Reittherapie Freilassing is the therapeutic riding practice of Heidi Wiebeck, a riding therapist and educator. The practice offers horse-assisted therapy for children, young people and adults, using the horse as a source of motivation and support. Its approach is about more than riding: clients can care for and interact with the horse, learn to recognize its needs, and take part in activities both on and alongside it. Contact, movement and shared experiences with the horse are central to the work.

Therapeutic riding is presented as suitable for people with physical or intellectual disabilities, as well as those experiencing ADHD, autism, mental health conditions, behavioral challenges, concentration difficulties, speech disorders, sensory impairments or rehabilitation needs. Sessions can support individual goals, including social and emotional development, self-esteem, body awareness, mobility, motor skills, concentration and perception. The practice also aims to encourage independence and responsibility, build trust and relationships, and help reduce anxiety and aggression. The focus is on positive experiences and supporting each client’s development.
