Reittherapie-Salzgitter

Reittherapeutisches Zentrum Salzgitter-Calbecht is a horse-assisted therapy and riding centre in Salzgitter, Germany, led by Bettina Rust. Its approach uses the physical, emotional, mental and social experiences of interacting with horses. The centre describes horses as sensitive partners that respond to people’s feelings and posture without judging them, while riding can provide rhythmic movement and opportunities to develop body awareness, trust and relaxation.

Reittherapy is offered for people with a range of needs, including physical, intellectual, psychological, social, communication, sensory and emotional difficulties. The centre also lists support for people with conditions or experiences such as ADHD, autism, learning and concentration difficulties, anxiety, depression and trauma. Alongside therapy, its services include special programmes for kindergartens and schools, instruction in classical riding, children’s birthday parties and holiday activities for children. The centre is located in Salzgitter-Calbecht and provides contact by telephone, mobile phone, fax and email. Its website also features information about cooperation partners and images of the centre’s activities.
