The Reit- und Fahrverein Schwabach und Umgebung e. V. is a volunteer-run equestrian club based at Badstraße 22 in Schwabach, Germany.
It brings together riding and horse-related activities for children, families, and private riders, while hosting events for members and the wider community. The club’s riding school offers instruction with school horses, and its programs include vaulting, pony activities, holiday programs, children’s birthday events, and the PonyTreff, which offers sessions bookable individually or through multi-session cards. Pony riding and guided rides are also listed among its activities, subject to availability.
The club welcomes private riders and organizes equestrian events, including competitions and a Schwabach city championship. It publishes event dates, practical information, and resources for participants on its website. Beyond its riding programs, the association offers opportunities for volunteers through recognized placements for a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) and Federal Volunteer Service (BFD), as well as internships.
As a community association, it directs inquiries to the appropriate contacts by email and notes that availability for lessons and activities can vary
