Reitzentrum Lichtenstein

Reitzentrum Lichtenstein is a riding school and horse boarding facility in Lichtenstein-Unterhausen, located below Schloss Lichtenstein. Led by Petra Höss, a Trainer-C riding instructor, the centre focuses on helping riders and horses develop in harmony. It offers qualified group lessons for beginners and advanced riders of all ages, with classes arranged according to ability from Monday to Saturday.

Instruction includes dressage, riding games, outdoor schooling, trail rides, video feedback and, for experienced riders, jumping training. Beginners can build a strong foundation through individual 30-minute lunge lessons, which also cover saddling and bridling. Children can join Bambini sessions from age four, while special programmes include pony birthday parties, holiday riding courses and opportunities to attend external competitions without owning a horse.

The centre’s school horses receive ongoing training and care, with fitted saddles and daily access to paddocks or pasture. Facilities include a modern, climate-controlled riding hall and a spacious theory room for lessons and video reviews. Reitzentrum Lichtenstein also provides horse pension services and welcomes prospective visitors by appointment.
