Rejsepunkt

Rejsepunkt is a Danish mobility initiative designed to improve public transport in towns and rural municipalities, particularly outside the country’s largest cities. It brings existing and new travel options together at local mobility hubs, planned for transport connections and locations such as schools, business areas, cultural facilities, hospitals and public services. Options may include buses and trains, shared cars and bicycles, carpooling, and mobility on demand, helping residents and businesses travel without relying solely on a private car.

The Rejsepunkt app is intended to provide a combined overview of available transport at each hub, allowing users to plan and book journeys across different modes, either in the app or through partner services. Its first version was planned for iOS and Android in 2025. Rejsepunkt aims to establish hubs across Danish towns and rural municipalities, with initial locations expected in several innovation municipalities and broader expansion planned. The initiative also seeks to make local travel more flexible and accessible, support community connections, and help towns attract residents, visitors and employees.
