Rejuvenate Umhlaba is a land restoration company that was founded in 2019. With a deep-seated desire to revive and make land productive, our name "Umhlaba," meaning land in various Southern African languages, reflects our mission. We have developed an innovative exchange platform for land restoration, where companies with a net negative impact on the land can purchase a share that entitles them to one hectare of land rehabilitated by us and other restorers.

Our comprehensive rehabilitation process includes improving soil structure, planting trees in deforested areas, rehabilitating wetlands, and reclaiming gullies. These initiatives result in increased productivity of arable lands, while simultaneously supporting local communities and reducing expansion into forest land. By partnering with us, corporate clients can operate sustainably and significantly reduce their land degradation footprint, contributing to SDG 15- Life on Land.
