Relax into Birth

Relax Into Birth is a hypnobirthing education service led by Katrin Heinzmann, a systemic therapist and educator with a master’s degree in education. Based in Heidelberg and serving the Rhine-Neckar region, including Wiesloch, the brand offers courses for expectant parents who want to prepare for a more positive, self-directed birth experience.

The courses combine practical techniques with information about the physical processes involved in birth. Participants learn relaxation, self-hypnosis and breathing methods, alongside ways to build trust in their bodies, strengthen their connection with their baby and develop their intuition. The programme also prepares a chosen birth companion to provide support, encourage relaxation and help reduce distractions during labour. Audio hypnosis recordings are available to participants for continued use after the course.

Relax Into Birth presents its approach as preparation for a range of birth experiences, including vaginal birth and caesarean birth. Its services are designed to help parents feel more informed, confident and able to take an active role in their birth, while addressing fears and supporting a calm, focused mindset.
