About CICSHAL
CICSHAL-RELIGACIÓN is a research center based in Quito, Ecuador, focused on social sciences and humanities from the perspective of the Global South. It promotes spaces for dialogue and exchange that support reflection, debate, research production, training, and the practical and theoretical dissemination of multidisciplinary studies. Its work spans a broad range of fields, including education, culture, sociology, economics, philosophy, history, and law.
The center’s publications cover interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary topics and are indexed in a range of scholarly databases and directories, including Latindex Catálogo 2.0, EBSCO, ProQuest, REDIB, MIAR, Dialnet, and ErihPlus, among others.
