FIK Ren-Eng is an athletics club founded in 1972 to serve the municipalities of Rendalen and Engerdal in Norway. Today, it welcomes members from across Nord-Østerdal and Eastern Norway, including Oslo. With around 700 members ranging from children to older adults, and from recreational runners to elite athletes, the club offers opportunities for a wide range of abilities and ambitions.
Ren-Eng has a proud history, particularly in middle- and long-distance running, and supports athletes at different stages of development. Its groups include recruits, juniors, seniors and veterans. Children can train on the athletics track in Åkrestrømmen and take part in meets and races, while junior and senior athletes have regular training and competitive opportunities.
The club’s senior and veteran groups train in Rendalen and at Bislett Stadium in Oslo, and its teams compete in the Holmenkollstafetten. Ren-Eng also organises the Femundløpet, featuring 5 km and 10 km races and a children’s Småtrolløpet
