About Renato HK
Renato HK, a student-run organization founded in May 2022 by Hong Kong students Kyle Chan & Theodore Chiu, dedicates itself to supporting local charities through fundraising projects and volunteer work. The organization's name, meaning 'reborn' in Latin, symbolizes new beginnings and a commitment to bettering the lives of individuals in Hong Kong.
Their debut project, Project Sunrise, launched in September 2023, raised HKD334,200 by selling the unique 'Sunrise Collection' of art prints and digital collectibles. The proceeds directly benefit charities such as Changing Young Lives Foundation, Duchess of Kent Children's Hospital, Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation, and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA HK).
