Renee Hathaway Petersen

Renee Hathaway is a home decor and lifestyle brand centered on vintage treasures, personal style, and the Danish idea of hygge: creating warmth, comfort, and everyday joy at home. Through its online presence and Etsy shop, the brand showcases vintage and retro pieces for decorating, including glassware, pottery, ceramic and wooden animals, teak accessories, and other distinctive finds. Featured examples include Danish glass designs, terracotta bowls, fused glass plates, and Chinese clay teapots.

The brand’s approach favors an eclectic mix of collected objects, natural materials, and earthy colors such as rust, green, blue, and warm yellow. Its articles offer inspiration for making living spaces feel cozy, from arranging glass to reflect natural light to adding plants and decorative accents. Renee Hathaway also shares personal stories about moving from California to Denmark, learning about local culture, and finding meaning in hygge. Together, the shop and editorial content encourage readers to create welcoming homes with character, comfort, and pieces that bring a smile.
