Dr. Michael Jones, Ph.D., LPC-S, is a counselor educator, researcher, speaker, and AI ethics specialist whose work connects mental health, technology, and human-centered care. A tenured professor with more than 20 years of clinical experience, he helps the counseling profession engage new tools while preserving relational integrity, cultural responsiveness, and ethical judgment.
Through speaking, consulting, training, and coaching, Dr. Jones serves counselors, universities, mental health organizations, technology companies, public agencies, and leaders. His services include keynotes, workshops, webinars, consultation on AI and telemental health, and ongoing executive coaching. For counselors and supervisors, the Counselor Education Collective offers continuing education, including the six-hour, NBCC-approved AI Care Ethics Certificate and Telemental Health Provider Training for those pursuing the BC-TMH credential.
