Rennschnecken-Shop is a specialist online store for aquarists, founded by longtime aquarium enthusiast Daniel Wissmann. Based on a personal passion for aquatic life, the shop offers carefully selected freshwater invertebrates and other distinctive aquarium inhabitants, with animal welfare, quality, and personal advice at its core.

Its selection includes freshwater snails such as nerite, ramshorn, and Tylomelania varieties; Amano, Neocaridina, and fan shrimp; crayfish, crabs including vampire crabs, and freshwater mussels. Customers can also find aquatic plants, including mosses and in-vitro plants, aquarium food, water conditioners, and related accessories. Gift vouchers are available for aquarium enthusiasts.

The shop provides practical care guides covering topics such as species requirements, water conditions, feeding, and compatibility. Daniel offers personal support by email or chat for questions about care, orders, and aquarium inhabitants. Live animals are checked before dispatch and shipped on suitable days in carefully prepared packaging, with seasonal insulation or heat and cooling packs when needed.
