Rentspace Tech is a Lagos, Nigeria-based company behind RentSpace, a service designed to help people save toward rent and access financial support when they reach set savings milestones. Members create a plan based on their rent amount and choose weekly, biweekly, or monthly contributions. In the first cycle, members save 70% of their rent target and RentSpace provides the remaining 30%; later cycles offer support of up to 50% or 70%, depending on how much the member saves.
RentSpace pays the full rent to the landlord, while members repay the support over five months, with a 2. 5% service charge on the remaining balance. Completing cycles can unlock features and rewards, including SpaceContribution and SpaceAuto, as well as a pathway toward car ownership.
The company also provides an app for tracking savings and plans, customer support, and product updates. RentSpace says app access is scheduled to open on January 1, 2027, and invites prospective users to join its waitlist
