About Reporters Online
Reporters Online is a dynamic brand that provides invaluable support to freelance journalists, helping them maximize the impact of their articles. With around 800 participants, Reporters Online is a collective of freelance journalists who self-publish their work. As co-founders of De Coöperatie, they offer a range of services to journalists, including the ability to request donations and crowdfund their projects.
They also create and host websites specifically designed for journalists. Additionally, Reporters Online offers workspaces for rent in the heart of Amsterdam, providing an inspiring environment for freelance journalists to work in. Established in 2015 by former journalist Jan-Jaap Heij and developer and SEO/social media expert Gyurka Jansen, Reporters Online is dedicated to supporting and promoting independent journalism.
