About Association Prof'APA
RéPPOP Aquitaine is a brand that focuses on the prevention and management of pediatric obesity in the Aquitaine region of France. As a city-hospital network partner of the Aquitaine Pediatric Obesity Specialized Center (CSO), RéPPOP Aquitaine aims to improve the prevention and care of childhood and adolescent obesity in the region. For healthcare professionals, RéPPOP Aquitaine provides concrete support for the management of overweight or obese young patients, including training, tools, coordinated follow-up, and access to expertise from the specialized obesity center.
For children/adolescents with overweight or obesity and their families, the network offers multidisciplinary and local care involving healthcare professionals from various sectors, such as primary care, hospitals, and educational institutions. This comprehensive care lasts for two years and includes regular medical follow-up, along with potential dietary and psychological support.
