Reprenonsleguidon

Reprenons Le Guidon is a Lorraine-based association established in 2022 by a team of cycling enthusiasts. Based in Montigny-lès-Metz, it promotes cycling through the recovery, repair, transformation and reuse of bicycles. Its welcoming self-repair workshop helps members learn to maintain and fix their own bikes, with guidance and practical advice from the workshop’s staff.

The association collects bicycles that might otherwise be discarded, restores them where possible and offers them for sale at affordable prices. Customers can choose inspected, safety-adjusted bikes ready to ride, or buy an unrevised bicycle and work on it themselves with support at the workshop. The association also holds bicycle sales events throughout the year, with options for adults and children.

People can donate one or more bicycles by bringing them to the workshop or contacting the association to arrange collection using its vehicle. Workshop activities are open to members, and annual memberships support the association’s project. Reprenons Le Guidon is open Wednesdays and Saturdays at its workshop on Rue des Bateliers in Montigny-lès-Metz.
