The Reptile Preservation Institute (RPI) is a 501(c)(3) reptile zoo, education center, and professional training center based in Melrose, Florida. Its mission is to preserve and protect reptiles in human care and in their natural habitats through sustainable conservation, breeding, and professional training. Visitors can book private tours to meet the institute’s reptiles and learn about native Florida species, critically endangered animals, and reptile biology.

RPI also offers one-on-one venomous reptile training courses during business hours, with visits available by appointment.
