Rescue Earth is an environmental initiative offering a holistic system of regenerative solutions for communities, agriculture and ecosystems. Its work focuses on restoring natural systems, improving soil health and water cycles, expanding tree cover, and supporting resilient food production and communities. The organisation uses a Regenerative Design Framework to connect ecological principles with practical, locally relevant action.

Its initiatives include ecosystem and bird habitat restoration, reforestation, regenerative grazing, diverse cover crops, soil carbon storage, bioremediation, and water-management approaches such as infiltration swales and leaky check dams. For food and farming, Rescue Earth promotes local food gardens, regenerative food production, bio-active compost and activated biochar. It also supports permaculture-inspired “Permascapes,” designed as wildlife-friendly gardens, alongside community co-ops, place-making, rain gardens, and walking and cycling paths.

Rescue Earth provides online courses and practical learning opportunities, including training in regenerative restoration and food production. Volunteerism is central to its approach: participants can contribute to projects, develop practical skills, and help build environmental awareness and community resilience.
