RescueCentre

RescueCentre is a software platform and community designed to help animal and wildlife rescue organisations manage care from admission through discharge. Established in the UK and launched in 2020, it supports rescue centres and professionals internationally, with users across Europe, North America, Australia, South America and other regions. The platform is free to use and was developed with feedback from animal rescuers and wildlife professionals.

RescueCentre brings patient records and daily care information together in one place. Users can record admissions, care notes, photos and treatments; create care plans; administer medication and manage stock; and track feeding, weight and growth. Role-based permissions help control access to care records, while reporting tools provide insights into species, locations and other rescue data. Finders can use a casualty reference number and passphrase to check updates about an animal they reported, and browse rescue centre profiles. By connecting centres and sharing useful information, RescueCentre aims to reduce administration, support collaboration and help improve outcomes for animals in care.
