Rescue Team

Rescue Team Vysočina is a Czech organization focused on rescue skills, emergency medicine education, and activities that promote respect for life. Its programs bring practical aspects of rescue work to both young people and adults, with experienced rescuers introducing participants to techniques used in outdoor, mountain, and water environments. The organization also arranges youth summer camps at the Mrákotín outdoor base, near Telč, for ages 10 to 15. Through themed games and hands-on activities, campers can learn and practise first aid, swimming, boating, and rope work while sharing outdoor adventures and making new friends.

For medical professionals, Rescue Team Vysočina has organized the Practical Marathon, a course in acute medicine designed for doctors who do not work primarily in emergency care. Its training has included airway management, patient assessment, CPR, trauma care, immobilization, and simulated emergency scenarios. Course information has described practical sessions, equipment demonstrations, team exercises, and continuing education credits for physicians.
