Réseau Handilib'30

Réseau Handilib’30 is an association based in Nîmes, France, dedicated to raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and supporting families of autistic children and adolescents. Its work aims to improve understanding, accessibility and acceptance, while challenging misconceptions about autism. The association offers awareness sessions tailored to different audiences, including schools, childcare centres and training institutes. These range from half-day introductions to fuller-day sessions covering autism’s history and characteristics, along with practical tools and possible accommodations.

Réseau Handilib’30 also runs welcoming, non-judgmental peer discussion groups for parents and family members, creating space to share questions, experiences and support. To give families time for themselves, it provides free half-day respite sessions funded by the CAF. Activities for children may include animal-assisted sessions and music workshops led by a music therapist, with support from two specialist educators trained in neurodevelopmental disorders. Through its partner network, the association can also help families find professionals who are trained or sensitised to supporting autistic children and adolescents.
