About ResEl
ResEl, short for Réseau des Élèves d'IMT Atlantique, is a cooperative student association dedicated to providing high-speed internet access across the residences of IMT Atlantique's three campuses: Brest, Rennes, and Nantes. Founded in 1990, ResEl has proudly served thousands of students, ensuring a reliable and neutral internet service that promotes educational collaboration and community engagement. Beyond internet access, ResEl offers a range of innovative services tailored for students.
These include live television streaming, a secure 50 GB cloud storage solution, collaborative note-taking through CodiMD, project management via GitLab, and data sharing through FTP. Additionally, ResEl emphasizes privacy with its own video conferencing solution as an alternative to mainstream platforms. With a commitment to open-source software, ResEl ensures transparency and flexibility, empowering students to take an active role in managing their digital landscape.
