Reserva Romanetto is a legally authorized breeder of tortoises and turtles based in Morretes, Paraná, Brazil. Founded in 1996, the organization began as a pioneering project in the breeding of nontraditional animals and expanded into the sale of hatchlings in 2004. It focuses on Brazilian species, including jabutis and red-eared slider turtles, and presents responsible, legal breeding as an alternative to wildlife trafficking.
The animals are raised at a nature reserve near Mount Marumbi. Jabutis have open field habitat, while the turtles live in ponds supplied by local rivers. Customers can purchase microchipped hatchlings with documentation and find guidance on buying, animal care, and the requirements for selling. The site also provides information about origin certificates, invoices, transport authorization, and animal transport permits, along with advice on food and microchips.
Reserva Romanetto offers educational videos, habitat photos, and contact with specialized veterinarians. The organization shares information about delivery availability and invites customers to contact its team for assistance, emphasizing animal welfare, environmental awareness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
