Residencia La Fresneda is a family-run care home for older adults located in Lugones, Asturias. Founded in 2000, it has grown as a second-generation centre while maintaining its focus on personal, attentive care and a warm, homelike atmosphere. Its professional team is committed to residents’ wellbeing and receives ongoing training.
The residence offers 22 individual and double rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom and television. Modern, comfortable facilities are designed to be safe and accessible, while gardens and terraces provide space for outdoor activities, walks and relaxation.
Services are tailored to residents’ individual needs and include pharmacy, laundry, and on-site hairdressing and manicure care. The team also works with health professionals, including physiotherapist Jesús Carro and the Lugones health centre, to support residents’ medical care. Complementary activities include sociocultural entertainment, music therapy and animal-assisted therapy, supporting emotional, social and cognitive wellbeing. With visiting hours every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Residencia La Fresneda aims to offer older adults a secure and welcoming place to live.
