Resistance Festival

**Resistance Festival** is an annual cultural and political event that aims to challenge and redefine global narratives through discourse and artistic expression. Taking place on September 16-17, 2023, at the Agricultural University of Athens, this festival invites participants to reflect on the changing geopolitical landscapes influenced by social movements and emerging powers, notably among the BRICS nations.

The festival features a diverse program, including enlightening discussions led by prominent journalists and activists who analyze contemporary issues in regions like Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean. This year, attendees will engage with influential figures such as Senegalese activist M.M. Sabe and Lebanese legislator A. Fayyad, who have been pivotal in their countries' struggles against neo-colonialism.

In addition to intellectual engagement, the festival hosts vibrant musical performances, showcasing artists like Martha Fridgzila and Dimitris Mitsotakis, alongside the band Fistikí Salóni, offering an artistic journey through Greek musical traditions.
