Resolve Forensics is a private, accredited DNA laboratory dedicated to forensic investigative genetic genealogy (FIGG). Founded specifically to serve this field, the laboratory combines forensic expertise, transparent processes, and court-tested experience to help investigators turn DNA evidence into leads and answers. Its work supports cold cases, including investigations where traditional methods and CODIS have not produced results, and can help advance challenging cases in weeks rather than months.
Resolve Forensics offers accredited advanced DNA testing, forensic investigative genetic genealogy services, case reviews, and trial assistance. The laboratory’s capabilities include whole genome sequencing of FIGG SNP-DNA profiles; it reports being the first laboratory worldwide to earn ANAB ISO/IEC 17025 forensic accreditation for this work. The team also contributes expertise to policy, grants, legislation, laboratory standards, and industry education. Its DNA sequencing has supported identification efforts in partnership with investigative organizations, including work on long-unidentified individuals. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Resolve Forensics provides a case submission process, online account access, and support for agencies seeking specialized forensic DNA analysis.
