Respect The Game Basketball

Respect The Game Basketball is a youth sports organization serving families across Long Island. It aims to provide a fun, safe, and supportive environment where young people can develop athletic ability and positive character. Through basketball, the organization emphasizes teamwork, discipline, responsibility, perseverance, and sportsmanship, helping players grow both on and off the court.

Its offerings include boys’ and girls’ teams, tryouts, camps, clinics, training sessions, and league play for players of different ages and skill levels. Small-group basketball training is available at its training court at All Sportz in Melville, with trainers and coaches focused on player development. The organization also runs RTG Next Gen, a multi-sport skills program for children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Activities introduce participants to soccer, baseball, football, basketball, and volleyball while developing coordination, agility, strength, listening, and social skills. Sessions are led by professional teachers and coaches specializing in child development. Respect The Game’s programs combine physical activity with confidence-building and a sense of community, giving children opportunities to learn, compete, make friends, and build healthy habits.
