L’Instant Présent is a bistronomic restaurant at the Domaine et Château de Valinches in Marols, in France’s Loire region. It offers creative, generous cuisine in a welcoming setting that combines historic stonework with refined lighting. Since September 2025, chef Stéphane Sanial has led the kitchen, bringing experience from French and international establishments and a focus on local culinary traditions.
The restaurant prepares its dishes on site, using fresh, seasonal ingredients and prioritising local producers and short supply chains. Its regularly changing menu highlights the flavours of the Forez and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, with carefully selected meats, French free-range poultry and eggs, and regional cheeses and charcuterie. A developing kitchen garden is also intended to supply herbs, edible flowers and seasonal vegetables.
L’Instant Présent serves lunch and dinner, with weekday lunch menus. It also offers tailored group dining for parties of 10 or more, private rooms for gatherings of up to 30, and event catering for groups of up to 200.
