Restaurant Vis en Meer

Restaurant Vis en Meer is a fish restaurant in Woudsend, a watersports village in the Netherlands, where it has served guests since 2009. The restaurant combines a focus on quality with a welcoming atmosphere and seasonal cooking. Its menu changes every two weeks and offers three- to six-course options, alongside à la carte dishes such as its signature bouillabaisse, lobster with pearl couscous, sole and Black Angus entrecôte. Guests can also enjoy fresh oysters, including selections from the restaurant’s own lobster tank, as well as vegetarian dishes, desserts and optional wine pairings.

Every Sunday from 1 p.m., Vis en Meer serves a leisurely lunch featuring five refined fish and meat dishes, with a glass of sparkling wine included. For takeaway, paella is available from Friday to Sunday by advance order, with a minimum order for four people. Oysters and caviar can also be ordered to go on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant has a sheltered courtyard garden and partly covered terrace, and offers gift vouchers in any amount.
