About Verband der Restaurator:innen
Welcome to the Association of Restorers! We are the professional and trade association for restorers and represent around 3,000 members at the federal level. Our goal is to protect and preserve cultural heritage, and we offer a wide range of products and services to achieve this. Our members specialize in various areas, including archaeological cultural heritage, ethnographic objects, photography/film/audiovisual cultural heritage, paintings, stained glass, graphic art, industrial cultural heritage/modern cultural heritage, handicraft objects, leather and related materials, metal, furniture and wooden objects, contemporary art, musical instruments, polychrome sculptures, preventive conservation, stone conservation, textiles, and more.
We also have various interest groups within our association, such as restorers in training, associated members, public servants, and freelance professionals. In addition, we provide resources such as a job board, publications, and a shop for our members and offer benefits and discounts as part of our membership. Join us in our mission to give cultural heritage a face and preserve it for future generations
