Resthaven is a proudly South Australian, not-for-profit aged care community service associated with the Uniting Church in Australia. For 90 years, it has supported older people and their carers, offering services across Adelaide and regional South Australia. Its aim is to help people navigate aged care as their needs change, from basic assistance at home to nursing and end-of-life care.

Resthaven’s services include residential aged care in homes offering accommodation, nursing and personal care, companionship, dining and activities. Home Support can help people remain safe and independent through home maintenance, personal wellbeing, nursing, shopping, respite and social support. The organisation also provides retirement living options, wellness and reablement services, and flexible respite, including overnight, centre-based and residential care. Carers can access support groups, retreats and opportunities for planned breaks.

Resthaven offers specialised care and support in areas including dementia, continence and palliative care, as well as a Care Finder program to help older people understand aged care and connect with appropriate services.
