RestorABLE Recreation Therapy

RestorABLE Recreation Therapy is a special needs provider serving young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Cherokee County, Georgia. Based in Holly Springs, the organization offers person-centered recreational therapy and support designed to strengthen social, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. Services are available one-to-one and in groups, with activities focused on building confidence, communication, independence, and skills that can carry over into everyday life at home and in the community.

Programs include individual and group community access, recreational therapy, social outings, job coaching and supported employment, individualized fitness support, aquatic therapy, community living support, and respite. Group activities provide opportunities to practice social skills, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and coping strategies while developing relationships with peers. Employment support helps participants pursue work in fields that interest them, while community and living supports encourage greater self-sufficiency and participation in community life.

RestorABLE is led by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation and experience serving special populations. Payment options include Acumen, Continuum, and private pay.
