About ReThink HPVaccination
ReThinkHPVaccination is a project funded by the European Union through the EU4Health Programme and spearheaded by a consortium including the Renasterea Foundation for Woman's Health, the Centre for Innovation in Medicine, and the Eurocomunicare Association. The project aims to address the low uptake of HPV vaccination in Central Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and EU-widening countries, where HPV-related cancers are prevalent. By providing personalized communication, training, and behavioral interventions, the project seeks to reduce inequalities in HPV vaccination and improve cancer prevention efforts.
The project's objectives include offering evidence-based strategies for communication, combating misinformation, developing training programs, implementing pilot projects in disadvantaged regions, and disseminating information to national authorities and NGOs.
