Retriever Rescue of Colorado is a dedicated and compassionate organization that focuses on rescuing and finding forever homes for retriever breeds. Founded in 2006 by a group of passionate volunteers, RROC aims to save as many dogs as possible, despite the challenges they may face. With a team of dedicated volunteers and a limited budget, they have defied expectations, saving more than 2,000 retrievers to date, and continue to rescue over 200 dogs each year.

RROC operates as a 100% volunteer-based organization, where each individual's commitment to rescuing retrievers is driven by love and care for these precious creatures. By collaborating, working, and having fun together, they make a real difference in the lives of these dogs. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, RROC welcomes everyone to join their cause, as it truly takes a village to rescue a dog.

Through the collective efforts of many volunteers, RROC has successfully found forever homes for over a thousand dogs. Each dog receives love and care from the team, including rescue, foster, and placement in their forever home. If you feel a kinship with these retrievers and share their mission, there is a place for you at RROC. Connect with them on social media, explore their website, or reach out to get involved—there is something for everyone at RROC.

Please note that Retriever Rescue of Colorado is a 501(c)3 charitable organization based in the State of Colorado.
