About SnakeX
Retrorama is a free, ad-free video game encyclopedia and collection-management platform designed for players and collectors. Its catalog covers 278,592 games across 220 platforms, with available covers, release information, summaries, genres, and other game details. Visitors can search the catalog, browse by platform or alphabetically, explore upcoming releases, and discover games released on a particular day.
Users can create an account to rate games, build a personal collection by platform, and maintain a wishlist. Collection records can distinguish physical and digital copies, including whether a physical game has its box and manual. Collections can be filtered, sorted, and shared through a public page, while community leaderboards and badges recognize ratings, collecting, and contributions.
Retrorama also offers an iPhone app for scanning barcodes, browsing games, and managing collections and wishlists on the go. The site is in beta, with catalog updates synced automatically and users invited to report missing or inaccurate information. Developed in the creator’s free time, Retrorama is supported by optional donations and provides game data from IGDB.
