Reverse Gravity is the personal website and creative platform of Steven Wendel, focused on software engineering, performance, and thoughtful technology. Its blog explores C and C++, performance considerations, and the practice of building software that respects its users. The site brings together technical writing and independent creative work, offering visitors a place to discover both engineering ideas and a game project.
That project is Time Traveling Raptors, a 16-bit-inspired action exploration platformer. It follows a girl trying to fix the timeline while fighting off dinosaurs, combining time-travel adventure with platforming and exploration. Reverse Gravity presents the game as part of its collection of projects.
The site is generated with a custom C static site generator, reflecting its interest in programming beyond the subjects covered in its articles. Overall, Reverse Gravity connects practical software engineering topics with a distinctive independent game, while emphasizing performance, C/C++, and software built with consideration for its users. © 2024 Reverse Gravity.
