Revolution Racing is a road-cycling race organizer in Northeast Kansas, building events for cyclists since 1991. From its first race at Haskell Indian Nations University to more than 200 races and the Spring Fling, the group brings together a love of the beauty and challenge of road cycling. Its events feature varied courses and conditions, including flat roads, corners, wind, hills, and individual efforts, with options for different types of cyclists.
The race calendar includes the John Brown Time Trial Series, a monthly Thursday event through the summer; the Wednesday Night Worlds Crit Series, held on summer evenings in Olathe and powered by X-LAB; and the annual Spring Fling Crit Series, with Saturday criteriums from late February through March at Clinton Lake, south of Lawrence. Riders can register for Wednesday Night Worlds in person or through BikeReg, while Spring Fling dates offer individual registration. Results are shared on the Revolution Racing Facebook page. Revolution Racing also welcomes ideas for new races, inviting cyclists to help shape events they would enjoy.
