Fundación Rewilding Chile is the legacy of Tompkins Conservation and is dedicated to promoting rewilding or ecological restoration to address the crisis of extinction and climate change. With over 28 years of experience, they have focused on rewilding as an integral conservation strategy along the Route of the Patagonia Parks. Their work includes the creation of new national parks, ecosystem restoration, and active management of endangered species.

Through their projects, they have established seven new national parks, expanded three national parks, donated over 500,000 hectares of land, and protected over 4. 5 million hectares. Their initiatives also include the Corredor Nacional del Huemul, which aims to restore populations of this endangered species, and the Marine Program, which creates protected marine areas.
