Genealogie, einfach mal machen is a personal family-history project focused on researching and documenting the creator’s ancestral lines. Its aim is to reconstruct family relationships as accurately as possible and preserve the findings for future generations. The site reflects a research journey that began after the creator encountered a handwritten family tree and became interested in tracing his own family’s origins. It also stresses the importance of objective, evidence-based genealogy, rather than relying on accounts shaped by ideology or unsupported claims.

The website organizes its material into sections for collecting information, sources, ancestral charts, family trees, and contact details. The research described draws on conversations with living relatives, inquiries to registry offices, correspondence with churches, and visits to state archives. A central goal is to find evidence of the existence of each person included in the family tree. Rather than offering a universal guide to starting genealogical research, the site encourages individual researchers to develop their own methods for gathering, preparing, and presenting family data.
