Rexkaninchen

Rexkaninchenzucht von Bernd Uhlmann is a personal website devoted to Bernd Uhlmann’s hobby of breeding Rex rabbits. It introduces the distinctive qualities of these animals, especially their short, soft, velvety coats, and shares information for people interested in the breed or considering becoming breeders. The site covers several varieties, including Castor Rex, dwarf Rex in tricolour, white with red eyes and Japanese-coloured patterns, as well as Russian Rex, which Uhlmann bred until 2014.

Visitors can also find information about animals available for placement, feeding, the rabbitry and housing, practical tips, photographs and links to related resources. The website explains Rex rabbit classifications and gives the weight limits for Rex, small Rex and dwarf Rex categories, drawing on the ZDRK standard. Uhlmann welcomes questions and suggestions from visitors and hopes the site will help introduce new breeders to Rex rabbits.

Overall, it serves as an informative, personal resource for learning about his breeding interests and the care and varieties of these rabbits
